The glass cabochon is made of reclaimed window glass from buildings in the surroundings of Barcelona. The glass is hand painted with enamels and then fused at very high temperatures to melt the glass. The finished piece is solid and will not easily break, it's resistance is similar to a marble. The colors are permanent and will not fade or disappear with the time.
The top layer of glass makes a magical depth effect and on a closeup you will see tiny bubbles sparkling inside the glass.
